Start Your New Year NOW. I did by starting with the “3 Keys to Getting the Help You Need to Make the Money You Deserve”
Key #1 Determining what tasks you can delegate
As a Entreprenuer, business can be challenging, you are an expert in your field and you are now realizing that you have a business to run. You need to expand on your products, your service and your database.
Instead of spending your time doing the things that inspired you to go into business in the first place, those things that you are passionate about, you’re spending all of your time working in your business instead of running your business. As the boss, the head honcho, you are now responsible for taking care of everything on that to-do list that keeps getting longer and longer. Depending on the nature of your business, the list of tasks can be overwhelming.
After pouring all of your time and effort, heart and soul into your business, the burning question on your mind is, What do I do now? And the answer is … get help; because you can’t do it alone.
Key #1 Determining what tasks you can (and are willing to) delegate
Now that you have come to the conclusion that you can’t possibly do everything all by yourself and still have a profitable business (let alone a life), you have to make a decision regarding the many tasks on your to-do list. You have to decide which ones can be delegated to an assistant, and which ones you actually want to delegate. The easiest way to accomplish this task is to do separate the Revenue Producing and the Non Revenue Producing task.
Revenue Producing
$ Conduct group Coaching sessions
$ Meet with prospective clients
$ Sign up new clients
$ Present teleclasses and workshops
$ Work on the manuscript for your next book
$ Present workshops
$ Schedule speaking engagements
$ Develop keynotes and seminars
Non-Revenue Producing
$ Schedule appointments
$ Send out literature and marketing material
$ List workshops, seminars & teleclasses
$ Register attendees for workshops, seminars & teleclasses
$ Assemble & mail information packets
$ Proofread & edit ezine
$ Publish and distribute ezine
$ Follow-up telephone calls and email
$ Shopping cart and autoresponders
Once you’ve looked over the two columns, then you need to decide which of the non-revenue producing tasks you enjoy doing, and really don’t want to give up. Make sure that you’re spending your time doing those things you enjoy doing, things that fuel your passion.
Stay Tuned for Key #2
